Monopoly

Posting from Ordorica.us

I am posting from my new acquired domain name Ordorica.us. Yes, I bought one of those .us names since they are cheap. I am trying to get a monopoly on my last name cause one day I hope I do something that is important enough to warrant a website and owning my own name. Who knows, this website may be a portal to my new microsoft killer product. (heh). Anyways, I am also trying to buy Ordorica.com and I have already backordered it so when it expires on the 29th of this month (it used to belong to an Ordorica family of Lawyers in Austrialia) I'll be first to get it, hopefully. Right now Ordorica.com is just one of those generic spam pages, probably set up to try and charge people too much money for the domain name.

In other news I have finished three midterms now. CSE20, Math 20C, and COGN 20.  I am confident I did well on all of them except CSE20 for which I already got my grade back, and it wasn't too good, but it would be a lot better if there was a curve (since the whole class did generally poor). Tomorrow I have my last midterm for this month in CSE12. I think I'll do fine for that class, I just need to wake up early and read and memorize all my hw2 and hw3 (which is thousands of lines of code, mind you).

All I know is that this weekend I am going to have some fun. Apparently everybody and their mom is going to Santa Barbara for Halloween. I think I might also go just to see whats the big deal with that party area. I have a few friends at UCSB anyways that I could visit. Ok, enough rambling for now, I g2g t....

New Background

Updated Background and New Barstow Photos

A friend of mine keeps on telling me to put new photos up. So I finally got around to do it. Well just some of it :P These are photos of the Barstow Competition from my high school marching band. The above picture is actually the home school Barstow High as they were walking in. Part of the band etiquette is to salute and stand for the home band as they make their appearance.

In other news I finally figured out how to make a nice repeating background that isn't too generic. I also managed to make it smaller so I don't slow down your browsing too much. Have fun browsing my site!

School Spirit

Why we need a football team!

Look at the picture above... why can't UCSD have a football team? I mean we have all this money, and our academics are doing execellent, but UCSD lacks one very important thing. School Spirit! The picture above is from my high school friend Larissa who goes to ASU (Arizona State). She's in the marching band and is having a blast doing so.

One of my two prerequisites for college was: a good computer science department. Yeah, UCSD has that alright, this year we are officially the number 1 college for Science and Engineering.. aparently beating out MIT in the process. How many people can say they went to the best school in the whole country (and probably the world) for their degree. The other prerequisite was for the school to have some kind of marching band... that one obviously went out the window quick. I really tried getting into USC (which btw is the rival of ASU) cause they have an awesome band. Most people don't know how important music is too me. I was and still am so close to becoming a music major of some kind. But I won't let myself because I know there is very little money in music, or course unless you want to become a teacher of some sort. Don't get me wrong, I really like computers too, more so than music, but it just isn't as fun.

UCSD really needs to build a stadium and get a football team. I think that would be the only way to unite the six separate colleges. Nevermind the ....
