Home Sweet Home
I am back from college now. Finals went ok... well not really. It looks like I am going to have to retake my CSE class. I came so close to passing. I should have dropped it, but my stubborness prevented me from doing so. Oh well I guess. Next quarter that class should be easier considering I have already done all the homework. So all I have to do is improve on my homework to get 100%'s and I'll definately get a high grade. I swear that is the hardest class I have ever had. A whole new definition of studying and work.
My first year of college was much harder than I imagined. So much studying is required of us just to even get a passing grade; and if you want an A then you are looking at 24 hour studying (from waking to sleeping) or you must already know the subject in the first place. For example, I got an A in my music class mostly because I am an experienced musican. I didn't even have to study for that class. Yet for my CSE class, I worked for entire weeks on a single assignment and didn't even get 100% on any single one. And no, I wasn't wasting my time or getting distracted.
Next quarter should be easier because I am going to have no more CAT! That is one less distraction in my way of becoming a CSE major. CAT was such a bunch of BS. I can't believe the kind of essays I wrote for that class. The more your essays sounded like you were hig....
So, I found somebody to take the last of my sungod leftovers. I also kicked ass on my CAT 3 finals. OMG! CAT is finally over. At least until practicum in a few years. Well, after my Music Final, I plan to come back and relax a while, courtesy of Justin. I wish I would have known him better throughout the year. Ahh, the people we meet doing unscrupulous activities.
It was funny to see my RA tempted the other day by one of his residents. He was so close to saying yes, but his RA training has paid off well and he showed great restraint, more than I have.
Haha, ok, enough with all the abstract talk. Off to destroy the music final.
Wow the year went by so fast... Later today I have my first final exam for CAT (Culture, Art and Technology) class. Finally the BS'ing will be over and I can concentrate on real subjects like Math and Computer Science. I have a final every day until Thursday this week when I leave home @ night. I'm going to miss college so much. I am going to miss all the experiences and people that I have met.
I hope that the people in my building don't lose touch with each other next year. I really want to party with you guys again. Maybe even my RA now that he will no longer be my RA as soon as I checkout.
Now, all I have to do is study for the next week. From waking to sleep. Tonight is my last night to get in a little partying for college... and there is still some... ahem... evidence left over from Sungod that I need to get rid of. How should I do that? I wonder...
