Anyways. I gotta get through cse30 (40 more minutes to go) before the celebration can begin. Oh yeah, and happy earth day too.
School has started again. It's already the second week and time has been flying soooo fast. So far my new classes have been really easy.
1. Math 20F - meh, ok. Not nearly as hard as Math20D. So far the first few chapters have just been about different ways to reduce a matrix to it's simplest.
2. Mus 15 - Interesting to say the least. At times this class is really really fun, but other times we are just being fed random names of instruments and techniques in other languages that I don't care about. But I think the midterms should be easy, and the class is only once a week for 2:30 hours. Not bad.
3. Phys 2B - Argh.. second week and I haven't even really started working on this class. No quizes or anything yet.
4. CSE30 - Programming is fun! Not. Well programming in general is fun, but this class is high up there on the "useless" meter. We are learning to program for a dead computer architecture in assembly language. Sure I'll get the basics of it, but it won't apply to newer computers.
So it turns out I didn't pass Math 20D. The teacher didn't give any curve at all! And he led the class to believe we would have somewhat of a curve. I would have dropped knowing there wasn't a curve. Somehow I did pull through and pass CSE20. w00t! Either i pulled through on the final, or the curve for the class was really big. I believe the latter is true.
Aight... so now i'm gonna finish this math homework. Then take a look at some physics (shrugs).
Yeah, i finally got around to updating this page. So what's new? I passed my Physics class (thank God) so now I move onto Phys 2B. I passed my Lign 4 class (easy P/NP) and the final for that class only took me like 25 minuets. Math 20D? No idea yet because the grades haven't been posted on Tritonlink. It just depends on how fat the curve is because I am on the borderline of passing (and that is all I really care about). Ditto for my CSE20 class which I am afraid that I may have not passed unless by some miracle I did well on my final. Hey, it's happened before! Luckily for me my next set of classes, CSE30, Math20F, don't depend on me passing the previous courses, so at least I know my schedule for next quarter.
So i've been home for a while now and getting things done. My car is fixed. It turns out that it was just my third cylinder misfiring due to a faulty wire and spark plug. Luckily it only took me 10 minutes of diagnosis and 30 minuets to fix the car. I picked up the guitar again and started playing just for the sake of it. I saw my little sister play baseball. Her team is undefeated so far and she is a great player for her age. I mean, they have to throw balls to her and won't let her hit because she can hit a home run. I made a quick $100 for fixing my neighbors computer and laptop.
Overall I am happy with my little "spring break" since I finally got to rest and not have to worry about school. It also grants me a break from all the, ahem, marijuana i was smoking. I think I'm gonna stop spending money on it though because I just took a look at my bank account and it's not pretty. I mean, I....
