This great afternoon I feel like bringing a PSA to my readers. Last night I watched my good friend go from sane to crazy in the matter of an hour. Yes, shrooms are a bit scary but they're supposed to be fun. After seeing this though, I don't think i'll ever do shrooms again. That's right, I tried them too and had a great trip all the way until my friend started "tripping balls" and there was nothing I/we could do for him but let the trip pass and hope he didn't hurt himself or do something else equally as crazy. I felt bad for my friend that day and it quickly killed my trip once i realized he couldn't take it. I left that night leaving my friend alone because his bad trip was slowly making my experience bad too. Luckily though everything is ok this morning and I think it's safe to say no more hard drugs for me, i'll stick to marijuana and avoid the problems and bad experiences. I guess the biggest thing I have gotten from all of this is that drugs are generally not worth the possible problems, except for marijuana of course. I've noticed it didn't really have a big effect on me and I wonder why. My explanation is that my everyday life is just great when i'm sober, and how can you enhance that anymore? I guess some people though do feel the need for something a little more intense than everyday life. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the experience, I got to see new colors, shapes, trails and everything was just a little different, but not spectacular. In fact, I think my sense of color is permanately changed now, everything is just a little more saturated than it was before, and positive effect I think.
